Music is a large part of my creative expression, and another way in which I engage in storytelling. My songs, acoustic and electronic, tend have sections with improvisations that explore the outer edges of a sound, texture, or feeling. Sometimes they cycle back to established themes, sometimes they simply arrive at a destination I didn't conceive when I started. Either way, it's a process that brings me immense joy and satisfaction, and I hope you hear that in the projects and collections below.

The music of Amygdala Highjack focuses on electronically infused instrumentals that take imaginative journeys into a host of sonic territories, planting melodic flags amongst the emotional peaks and valleys discovered along the way.
Rawktober Tales
Book I, II, & III
In October of 2023, I challenged myself to write a song every day of the month based on one word prompts; to push beyond lack of inspiration and stalled decision-making, and simply produce something musical in the daily allotted hours.

The result is a pastiche of 31 songs unapologetically influenced and plundered from a host of genres; from psychedelic rock, latin jazz, piano ballads, acid techno, salsa, chiptunes, reggae, Japanese karaoke, country, surf rock, and beyond.
