Encounter Set Pieces

When it comes to tabletop RPG's, outside of a crudely drawn map here or there, I have always been a fairly strict "theatre of the mind" purist. But over the past 5 years, I began drawing up more detailed maps for a player who struggled visualizing the encounters and another who enjoyed the granularity of tactical combat. Around that time I began to get into 3D printing. This inevitably led to experimenting with building encounter sets and terrain; the results of which you can see in the albums below.
