Encounter Set Pieces

When it comes to tabletop RPG's, outside of a crudely drawn map here or there, I have always been a fairly strict "theatre of the mind" purist. But over the past 5 years, as I was running a D&D campaign, I began drawing up maps for the players who had a harder time visualizing encounters and enjoyed the granularity and tactics. Around that time I began to get into 3D printing. This inevitably led to experimenting with building encounter sets and terrain. The results of which you can see in the albums below.
