Moving Day!

Well, this will probably be my last update for a couple weeks. I am finally moving into my own apartment in Kota. From what I can tell, it's only about 60 miles away, but it's through mountains where the average speed limit is roughly 30mph, so I expect it to be nice two hour trip. Despite having a lot to do tomorrow, and after a little goading on my part, Drew has been kind enough to drive me there. When I arrive I'll have no phone and no internet. Ugh! A phone I can do without, but c'mon man... I neeeeed my internet! Fortunately, I'll have a company car so I can take the time to familiarize myself with the surroundings and hopefully find an internet cafe. How did we even live 15 years ago, I don't know and I don't care to think about it more. Go internet!

For my last night in Haruno, Dan, Alisha, Drew and I went to eat Korean BBQ. Or rather, Dan and I ate the bbq, while Alisha and Drew ate a veggie version of bimbimbap. I'd write more about it, but seeing as how my last couple updates have been about food I feel the need to take a break from any culinary dissertations. Suffice to say, it was a really great meal.

Well, its 4am...and since I leave at 8am, it's time to start packing. Next post will be a week off or two, but should have lots of fun stuff to say, or possibly a sob story about how much I hate japan and want to leave now that I have a job.
