Rated M for Mature

Our friend John came to visit last week. We had a good time running around the Hamamastu area and walking around areas with signs that we later realized said "no walking on this area." Not much else has been happening recently besides a job searching blitz so I've been a little slow in updating. Here are a few pictures that I took from some fun outings.

Kakegawa castle. From the top you can just see the top of Mt. Fuji on a clear day.

From one of japan's infamous lingere vending machines. Yes, they are real; No, I didn't buy any.

We see this little thing on one side of the neighboorhood in the mornings and on the other side during the night. I can't imagine it can go much further than that (Also, it looks like I've been impaled by a giant pencil).
